We're Here to Help You

Background

Singapore Accident Help Centre

Established in 2016, the Singapore Accident Help Centre (‘SAHC’) was founded with the goal of promoting the welfare of Malaysian Workers in Singapore. The founders of the SAHC had observed that many Malaysian workers had been subjected to exploitative behaviour after an accident had occurred, whether intentionally or otherwise, chiefly due to the lack of understanding of their rights as foreign workers in Singapore.

By educating Malaysian workers on their rights when they have been involved in an accident, Malaysian workers would be able to understand and make use of the protections provided to them under Singapore Legislation.

SAHC runs its operations with donations from the public as well as individual/corporate donors. Our operations are particularly focused on the 300,000 Malaysian work permit holders (out of the total 900,000 Malaysians working in Singapore) who are forced by their circumstances to commute to and from Singapore on a daily basis.

Vision

Our Vision is to ensure Malaysian Workers are protected while working in Singapore.

Mission

Our Mission is to educate Malaysian Workers on their rights and protect the interests of Malaysian Workers should they become involved in an accident while working in Singapore.
