The following Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the Singapore Accident Help Centre Website (the ‘Site’).
These Terms and Conditions may be varied at any time, depending on the circumstances as the case may be.
By using this Site, you indicate that you have read and understood the most recent version of these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.
1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND LICENSE TO USE WEBSITE
1.1 Subject to the license below, unless otherwise stated, the Singapore Accident Help Centre (‘SAHC’) reserves all intellectual property rights to this Site and the content contained herein. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files, videos and anything that contributes to the composition of the site.
1.2 The SAHC hereby grants the User a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to view, download, print or otherwise store content made available on this Site for personal use, subject to the restrictions set out below and elsewhere in these terms and conditions.
1.3 The content of the Site is protected by copyright and the use of the website does not grant the user ownership of any intellectual property rights.
2. ACCEPTABLE USE
2.1 Content on this Site must not be used, edited, exploited or otherwise modified for :
2.1.1 Any unlawful or illegal purpose or activitiy;
2.1.2 Damaging, disabling and impairing the website, or interfering with another party’s use of the Site or the content of the Site.
2.2 No part of this Site, nor any content made available therein, may be reproduced, duplicated or resold for commercial purposes, profit, used in unsolicited commercial communications or for any other purposes relating to marketing.
3. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
3.1 The SAHC makes no representations or warranties, express or otherwise, regarding the reliability and accuracy of this Site, nor of the information and content provided therein.
3.2 Subject to and to the extent permitted by the law applicable from time to time including the Unfair Contract Terms Act (UCTA), the SAHC disclaims all liability in relation to the content or use of this Site; including but not limited to liability for any losses, whether direct or otherwise, and regardless of any nature, arising out of any errors irrespective of origin in the content of this Site.
3.3 The limitation of liability as set out above also excludes the liability of the SAHC’s website operators, officers, employees, agents, subsidiaries, and assignees.
4. Governing Law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, and any disputes in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
